DEVELOPING THE MARINE AND COASTAL SECTOR IN WALES

We would like to invite you to join a SEACAMS event to mark our achievement over the past five years. The meeting will provide stakeholders with an overview of commercial developments in the marine and coastal sector and demonstrate some of our collaborative projects with businesses in Wales. We will also illustrate plans for SEACAMS2 which includes exciting new developments for improving the research offer to companies with significant advances in data collection and accessibility.

The meeting will include displays and demonstrations and the research vessel Prince Madog, moored alongside the venue, will show oceanographic and geophysical equipment routinely used by SEACAMS.  We will have some limited space for displays from individual companies. If you would like to set up a display, please let us know, although at this stage we cannot guarantee space.

The meeting is a drop-in event at the Life Sciences Hub Wales in Cardiff Bay on Thursday 4th June from 11 am to 5 pm with a formal address by Edwina Hart AM, Minister for Economy, Science and Transport in Welsh Government, at 2 pm. A buffet lunch will be available at 1-2 pm.

We look forward to seeing you. You are very welcome to bring others in your team. It would be helpful if you could let us know if you will be able to attend and indicate any dietary requirement you may have. Please reply to Michelle Jones at SEACAMS (m.l.jones@bangor.ac.uk).
